A San Diego Wedding

No not mine! My Tbone's younger brother.

We started our 4 day journey with a rehearsal dinner at the beautiful Prado in Balboa Park.

It's okay, I'm Japanese.

Stay classy San Diego

The following morning, we had extra time so we decided to take advantage of our Zoo passes.

Later on we got ready and headed off to the wedding at the famous El Cortez.

It was so perfect! The happy couple looked amazing!!!

The following day we met up with all the family and decided to do a trolley tour. I have lived in San Diego County for most of my life so I've never done the touristy thing. It was really fun and I learned a lot.

View from Coronado Island

The next day was my birthday and we were packing for our move. The relaxation was so nice!

I'm baaaaaaack

Well after restoring my old blog, I'm finally back. Since my last post, I have divorced, found someone  that I will spend the rest of my life with, my father was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, he passed away 5 months later, I've moved twice and just now I'm starting to get our lives back in order.

Is that enough for you? LOL

I'm exhausted from just writing it.

I hope I still have some of my old followers! I have missed blogging soooo much! Please let me know you are all still there!!!!

Relay for Life 2012

So I know I have been absent for quite a while... Just kind of enjoying all of my kids end of the school year activities, summer, and our big Relay for Life event that we had last weekend.

If you dont know about Relay for Life or you haven't ever visited one in your area, I highly recommend it... I guarantee you have been affected by cancer in some way... For me, so many loved ones in my life have been touched by the horrific disease... That is why I relay every year!!!

Here are some pictures from last weekends event which was a great success. Our event raised over $104,000 and our Team raised $11,000 of it! Go us!

Every person you see in a purple shirt is a cancer survivor!

Ruth (survivor) and Andy found each other after loosing their spouses and now he is battling Mesothelioma.

My dear friend and Hodgkin's Lymphoma survivor

Our friend Carrie (survivor) thanking her husband for being her caretaker

Cristy with her family friend Gene (survivor)

Our friend Misha who is a mother of 8 and a cancer survivor!

My Boogie Relays for so many that are close to her.

Kelsee relays for her Uncle and her family friend.

T relays for his grandma who is a survivor.

Trudie Relays for her husband who lost his battle and for her daughter in law who is a survivor.

Emma supporting her mom (survivor)

Joelle relays for her father (survivor)

Each of these bags of light represent someone who has been touched by cancer.

I urge you to check out a Relay for Life in your area.
