Ahhh the life of a toddler... Not a care in the world!

A few weeks ago we were bbq-ing with the neighbors and after dinner, they gave all the kids ice cream cones. I suddenly realized that my kids had NEVER eaten ice cream from a cone! I know, I know, bad Mama Monster!!!! It's just that ice cream is so much cleaner in a bowl so that is what I have always given them.
This made me realize that I am totally taking away a huuuge part of childhood! I used to look forward to going to my Grandma's house because it always meant an ice cream cone... she used to get the ones that had the names on the cone and I'd always get so excited to find out what my name for the day was going to be! How could I have denied my kids this awesome experience?
Fast forward to this past weekend in Laughlin... Laughlin buffet = all you can eat soft serve ice cream & CONES. The photo above reminds me of why I never gave my kids cones... but seeing how happy it made her makes me not even care about the mess (I'm lying, I do care... but just a little bit).

haha! The first cone Buster had was in the car!!! He actually did so good and he was pretty young! Maybe 2.5 yrs old or something! And I totally remember the names on the cones, do they still do that?
