Hiking in the San Jacinto Mountains- Tons of pictures

As we were laying around the house this morning trying to figure out what we were going to do, hubs suggested that we take the Palm Springs tram and go hiking up in the San Jacinto mounatins. 

It was a gorgeous day!!! 70 degrees at the top of the mountain which is about 8500ft. We ate lunch at the top in the little cafeteria and then headed out.  The kids were troopers! We had intended to only take a little hike but the kids curiosity made the short hike turn into 5 miles... That's pretty long for a 2 and 4 yr old. Boogie walked the whole thing and Beakey walked about half and then we carried him for the other half. They did amazing!
