The tooth fairy will not be visiting Lola tonight. She can't afford to after today's vet bill.... Let's start by saying that I am a bad bad mama! I haven't taken Lola for a teeth cleaning since we adopted her 3 1/2 years ago... I noticed that she had stinky breath lately but not horrible... I kept putting off her cleaning... I finally made the appointment and (get ready to hate me), she had to have 7 teeth removed... I feel horrible!!! Bad bad mommy!
So $400 later, she is resting comfortably on the ottoman. Here are some iphone pics I got of her today. Sorry for the quality.

Poor Lola - both Brutus and I have had to have teeth pulled too. We agree with Daisy - the soft food is delicious :)

ReplyDeleteI started Fred on the dental vaccine after his last cleaning! You might want to look into that for Lola if you are interested :)
Don't worry maybe the Tooth Fairy will put an IOU under your pillow....
ReplyDeleteToo funny. Our 14 year old cat made it to the vet today for a reg checkup and ended up having his teeth cleaned and one removed. The vet saved it for the kids and Plumpy the wonder cat will get a visit from the tooth fairy tonight. Our cost $479 Ugh and double ugh..... I feel your pain!
