The 24th...

I hope that you all enjoyed your holidays! We sure did. Ours was a little different this year as compared to most years. My hubs' sister and her new husband went on a Christmas cruise so they weren't around. Then the hubs' brother, his wife and their new baby went to Arizona to be with her family for Christmas so they weren't around. So that left only one other of the hubs' siblings and her family so we joined them with my in-laws for Christmas Eve brunch. It was a great time! The kids all got to open presents and enjoy being around each other!

It doesn't take much to make me happy! A hot nonfat caramel macchiato and I'm a happy girl!

Cousins- My Boogie, My Niece, and My Beakey

I know that I am biased, but they are cute!

My babies

Beakey's firetruck! Biggest hit this Xmas!

The Christmas Cactus- my in-laws got a new kitten and didn't want to put up a tree for fear of the cat destroying everything. So they had a Christmas cactus!

Then it was back home to bake cookies for Santa and make food for the reindeer.

Our ingredients

Showing off my new 2 qt. mixing bowl from my mother in law... I love it!!!!

Our reindeer food all finished and ready to go outside.

Santa's cookies (Boogie style) all ready

Sprinkling the reindeer food so that they can find our house

"All gone"

Then it was off to bed for what we knew was going to be an early morning!

  3. We love the reindeer food idea (we just leave out carrots for the reindeer). The Christmas Cactus is cracking us up! Glad to see you had a nice Christmas!
