So I have this weird love for anything old carnival/fair/boardwalk-ish.... I am not sure where this weird obsession came from. Could be because I was not allowed to go as a child... Maybe my parents didn't like the fact that the rides were put up and taken down from a suitcase with-in a 24 hour period. Understandable I guess.

ReplyDeleteI love all of the pictures except for the swing ones. I went on the one at knotts (the one that the kids go on) and I had a panic attack and they had to stop it and get me off because I was scaring all the little kids. Sara was with me and was beyond embarrassed!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures reminded me a lot of some of my State Fair pictures. My sister and I always heard my mom and dad talk about the Georgia State Fair so finally, when I was like 17 and my sister was 21, we convinced them to take us to the Virginia State Fair. We couldn't believe what we had been missing out on! It's definitely a cool thing to take your kids to when they're old enough.

Oh, I love carnival colors. My parents used to spend the winter in Florida at the same campground as the circus people. I think that's where I get my fascination about it from.
