The Transition

So last week we had to make the transition from a crib to a big boy bed for Beakey...

Now this kid will try to push and push and push until he gets what he wants... Only, I am equally as stubborn... So this is how it has ended up...

Here he has fallen asleep on his sister's unicorn pillow pet next to his rolling back pack. I guess, he was planning on running away. =)

During nap time, he refuses to stay in his bed... So I put up a baby gate... He will stand there for about an hour asking to come down stairs... I calmly (most of the time) tell him to go back to bed and that he needs to take a nap. He ends up falling asleep by the gate. 

For some reason he doesn't do this at night... He goes right to sleep... But he will fight nap time. Oh well,
