Spring Break Has Begun!

Well the kids and I kicked off our Spring Break by going to see Gnomeo and Juliet today... BTW this was Beaks very first experience at a movie theater so I was super nervous, but he did sooo well!

We had such a great time! We met a bunch of friends for a early matinĂ©e and took up almost two rows... Now that is what Spring Break is all about (well when you have kids...), having a good time with your kiddos.

The movie is soooo cute! A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!! I love that they think to put adult humor in kid movies so that we can enjoy the movie just as much as the kiddies! Seriously, this gnome was cracking me up!!!

...and now, I may or may not want to fill my yard with tons and tons of gnomes and plastic flamingos!!!!  How cute are they???

This is what my front yard needs to look like! Hahaha...

One guess who this is supposed to be.... Bet ya can't guess!!!

Beaks, Buster, Boogs, and Ava right after the movie.

Boogs and Ava after the movie.

After the movie, we took the kids to the duck pond for lunch... They have kids eat free on Tuesday at Pat & Oscars... It's so hard to get all of those kids to look at once.

Day 2 of Spring Break down, 12 more great days to go!!!! Stay tuned for more of our adventures!

For those of you wondering how my Uncle's open heart surgery went today... It went very well. He is recovering in the V.A. tonight with my cousin Steph the Nurse Practitioner taking great care of him. Even though the surgeon had never seen a aortic valve as bad as my Uncle's... they didn't have to replace the aorta. Yay that is good news. Tomorrow after they wake him up, they will have him walking around and coughing to clear his lungs (that sounds horribly painful for someone with his ribcage wired shut). Thank you everyone for your happy thoughts and well wishes!!!
