My little brother is 25 today... I have so many memories that stand out (many that I will deny to the day I die) from over the years but some of my most vivid include...
MEMORY #735
When Tom was about 2 (that would have made me 8), our parents had gone to Video Busters in town and rented Milo and Otis for us to watch. We didn't know what it was about other than it had a really cute dog and cat on the front of the case and that was how we picked movies back in the day.
Turns out the movie was indeed about an adorable fawn pug and orange cat duo who became best friends but got lost and separated from each other.
This separation was to much for little Tommy to bear. I will never forget looking over at my little chubby brother (wow how things have changed... now I'm the chub and he's the beanpole) in his yellow footy sleeper pajamas lying in the fetal position on the floor, head on a couch pillow bawling his eyes out... "Why can't Milo *sniffle sniffle* and Otis *sniffle snot* be *hack sniffle* friends anymore *waaaahhaaaa*???????" Seriously, he was hysterical!!!!
Fast forward to present time... poor guy then ends up with a long term girlfriend who taunts him buy having a pugs. Yes now Tom lives with a pug...

MEMORY #83257
This memory takes place probably when Tom was in middle school because I think I was in high school. Tom had his best friend Drew over on a Friday night like usual and I had my best friend Anna over like usual. We were just relaxing around the house because it was pouring outside and happened to go in to Tom's room. Tom had put this futon cushion thing up agains his window and was crawling acrossed the top of it like a cat on a window sill. I will never forget telling him, " hey idiot, you are going to fall out the window if you aren't careful" (yes I was a really nice sister). I am pretty sure he replied by telling me to shove it or something equally as nice. As soon as he was done insulting me, out he falls... Right out of the window... Because the cushion was level with the window screen (not sure why the window was open when it was pouring outisde) he fell right out. All I see is his knees and below. Luckily his knees had caught the ledge.
At this point I am laughing so hard that I am on the floor and crying. Tom is yelling at us to help him in and his head is scraping the stucco on the outside of the house and he is being rained on. Oh by the way, we lived in a one story house! My mom comes running in the room #1 freaking out that her baby is seriously injured, #2 horrified that all of us are laughing so hard and not doing anything to help the idiot.
I am not sure I have ever laughed as hard as I did that day.
