I Have To Believe It's Love

Sunday we decided to take advantage of our passes and spend the day at Sea World... It's one of my favorite places in the world... Not because it's a wild life sanctuary to many animals that can't be re-released back in to the wild... not because it's a place to help people learn more about these fascinating creatures, not because I get to look at the giant smiles on my kids faces as they get to interact with animals that they usually wouldn't get to....

Are you ready for the real reason???? Are you??? You sure???? It's because I get to continue my love affair with Obie the giant male Walrus... So I have to believe it's true love... and this is why.... We walk up and people are upset because he's not at his normal front window... So I sit down at the empty window in hopes that he will eventually make his way over there. I am determined because this is a great photo spot. Not 2 minutes later.. Here comes my Obie. He must have known I was there. He starts doing laps in front of me and showing off. I got a couple of great shots of my whiskery man love!

Isn't he handsome????

Okay okay, I guess I will post about some of the other animals we saw there...

Rescue llamas

The new turtle reef is sooooo cool!!!!

Kind of interesting... the trainers do not get in the tank with the whales anymore.

My babies- perfect way to end Summer for us!

  5. awesome pics! makes me want to go to sea world. i haven't been since i was a kid. is the 7th pic (black and white) a beluga? when we were in alaska, we were driving on a small cliff by the ocean and there was a group of belugas swimming around. they were so close, i could see them perfectly. it was amazing to see them in their own world... not a tank.
