She's been playing baseball for two seasons now but this is the first night game she has had that was actually dark (because she is getting older they get later games and because it's Fall the sun is going down earlier)... The kids had such a blast playing under the lights. They felt like pro players.
It really was the most fun game we have had so far. The energy was amazing! Go Cardinals!!! Oh and she is the only girl on the team. Soooo, she is pretty easy to pick out... Only one in the pink helmet, pink bat, and braids flying behind her. That's my Boogie~

ReplyDeleteMy five year old is playing fall ball too...with the addition of the pitching machine it sure makes things more exciting! I love how you captured the action shot of all the kids running to catch the ball...makes me smile! And, I love your little girl's pink helmet!!!

ReplyDeleteBrought back memories. I was the very first girl to *ever* be in my town's little league baseball. I had long hair, like your girl, and stood out like a beacon. I got lots of nice comments from parents but then there were the sexist pigs... I'll spare you some of the worst things that happened.
Most of all, I wish that I had photos of like your wonderful ones of your girl!
