This Is Halloween, This Is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, HALLOWEEN!!!

Last night we went Trick or Treating with our neighbors and some friends... We had a great time. This was the first time in our new neighborhood and it was a blast.

Halloween Craftiness

Last week I took a class from Marah Johnson from Randomly Speaking. I looooved it. We did a 'Wicked Altered Book'! Marah is sooo awesome and craft! It's amazing! We had a great time making this book!

So awesome right?!?!?!

Then she had another class that I really wanted to do but couldn't get to the class. So for my birthday, my friend Amy bought the Halloween Wreath kit for me. Well Friday night, Amy and I sat down and did our project. It took longer than we expected but OMG they turned out soooo awesome! 

I can't tell you how excited I am about how it turned out! The pages are from Sherlock Holmes! How cool is that?!?!?! 

Now I will have to see what else I can do before Halloween! I guess I should focus on my families Halloween costumes first!

I Pomise This Will Be The Last Pumpkin Patch Post of 2010

I just can't help it though because my baby boy rode a pony for the first time... Of course I did have a slight panic attack when we decided that he could do it... The lady assured me that they are strapped on there really well and that even if he tried to fall off (why would you do that?), that he wouldn't be able to. Of course all I could picture was my baby hanging on underneath the horse like on those crazy westerns.

He got up there (with the help of an extremely creepy old man who worked there- at least, I really hope he worked there) and rode like a champ (he didn't have a choice because the girl was right, he was really strapped on there pretty well!). Then I almost cried because I realized that my baby isn't a baby anymore.... He was a big boy and riding off in to the sunset (around the ring) on his pony.

I can't tell you how much this face kills me!!!! I just want to squish him!

We had a great time... Face painting, running around slipping on hay, chasing other kids, playing with farm animals (and not in a creepy way you weirdos), watching piggy races and running in to an old neighbor from about 7 years ago.

Pumpkin Fun

This year we decided to let the kids paint their own pumpkins... So we bought some craft paint and a bag full of brushes and let them go crazy! They had a good time making a mess and getting hosed off afterwards (good thing it's about 80 degrees today).
