Pumpkin Patch Fun

We love the pumpkin patch! We go to all different ones and numerous times!!! We just can't get enough!!!! But we have one in particular that my husband and I both grew up going to that we both just love and we take our kids to all year round. It's really a "Nut Farm" that is just extra spectacular during pumpkin time!

We went on Sunday just for a quick trip to let the kids pick out pumpkins but knew it would be crazy busy and hot. But like it said, it was just a quick trip since we didn't have much to do that day.

Then I was so sad that I didn't get really good pics of the kids, and that they didn't get to run around and have a good time, so we decided that we'd go back on a weekday in the afternoon when it wasn't so insanely busy.... Well we went back yesterday late in the afternoon and it was perfect!!!!

Can you say "Daddy's girl?"

She's an Uncle hog... She may even like him more than she likes me.

I Pomise This Will Be The Last Pumpkin Patch Post of 2010

I just can't help it though because my baby boy rode a pony for the first time... Of course I did have a slight panic attack when we decided that he could do it... The lady assured me that they are strapped on there really well and that even if he tried to fall off (why would you do that?), that he wouldn't be able to. Of course all I could picture was my baby hanging on underneath the horse like on those crazy westerns.

He got up there (with the help of an extremely creepy old man who worked there- at least, I really hope he worked there) and rode like a champ (he didn't have a choice because the girl was right, he was really strapped on there pretty well!). Then I almost cried because I realized that my baby isn't a baby anymore.... He was a big boy and riding off in to the sunset (around the ring) on his pony.

I can't tell you how much this face kills me!!!! I just want to squish him!

We had a great time... Face painting, running around slipping on hay, chasing other kids, playing with farm animals (and not in a creepy way you weirdos), watching piggy races and running in to an old neighbor from about 7 years ago.

Enjoy the pics!

Superman face plant- this was hilarious!!!! (he was fine and laughing).

I really hope that this isn't what we can expect in the future!

Pumpkin Patch Trip #2

We just love everything about the pumpkin patch and try to spend as much free time there in the Fall as possible! The hubs is NEVER home on weekdays so when he told us that he had Friday off, we took the opportunity to go and enjoy cool weather and the non-crowdedness...

Hahaha yah right, it was packed with schools on field trips. Oh well, we still had a blast... Enjoy a few photos.

Got my ducks in a row!

This goose was the pigs protector... Honking anytime someone came to pet him.

They were letting me know how uninteresting I was

He didn't want the goat food... He wanted Boogie's granola bar

Right after this, he fell
